Around My Neighbourhood

I live close enough to the ocean to harvest kelp for garden mulch and fertilizer. When I drive down the old highway I follow the ocean. When I go to the Lower Mainland I travel by Ferry. I have lived on Vancouver Island for most of my life, from my twenties and on. I have enough space for gardening, building sheds, collecting, living a satisfying life. These are a few of my views.
Middlenatch Island is a Provincial Park.
Native lore says that it moves around and it does seem to.
Old cable at Oyster Bay Park
Low tide Oyster Bay (a bird sanctuary).
A lot of chopping, hauling and stacking as each tree comes down.
