7 Maples...

A couple of years ago we bought 7 maples from a friend one was planted and the others sat in pots in our courtyard. Recently after moving blueberries to a new spot W said that the maples would love it there...

Paperbark the least interesting now...

  1. I've started collecting japanese maples myself and have about fifteen now. Our climate is not the most appropriate for them and with warmth followed by freezing weather for several weeks this spring, I had quite a task covering them night after night along with many other things in the gardens. I must say they are well worth the trouble however. Yours look to have some wonderful colors amongst their ranks... Larry

  2. Maples are so beautiful all year long! I've found some fantastic little starts in my garden from them...and potted them up too. They make great littl patio plants for a few years while they grow large enough to plant in the ground! Hope you link up to the garden party over here at Fishtail Cottage??? Would love to see you! xoox, tracie
