A Busy Time of Year...

I have slowed down on my Blogging with so many demands of the season. With the extended wet weather the weeding has been in high gear. Working on the deer fencing is still a learning experience even after all these years they can jump 8 feet no problem I have learned that if they can't see through the fence they won't jump...
Finally had a chance to do some painting with the $5 per gallon miss - tints.  This is the highest area
built some scaffolding got two coats on needs two more want to go with a sand color, going back to work tomorrow in the city so we will see.
This is Wendy's flower bed looking from our deck it changes as the season goes on the center bottom is Bugbane. She has a lot of lilies day and regular as well as a lot of other plantings we get a lot of enjoyment from them all.
Top L and  R high water the Frazer River at Port Haney. Center and bottom row Leaving Naniamo
on B.C. Ferries. Alpine Strawberries, Day Lily, left Mock Orange and white flies on Rhodo leaves. I sprayed with a Kelp product and it didn't do much, when I added a tablespoon of Basic H2 [Shaklee] that was the end of them the H2 is organic and will help with plant growth.

Have a Happy Day everyone!!!

  1. Painting that tall wall must have been a major challenge. Lucky you know how to build scaffolding. Glad you got that one done. Good pictures of your summer yard. Love seeing the changes as the season advances.

  2. Loved ALL the pics but my FAVORITE is the barn! Great color and I love 'miss - tints!!!'

  3. It looks like you have been busy too! Your garden is coming along with all your hard work. Wendy's garden is beautiful with all her pretty flowers. Hope you and your family have a great 4th of July.

  4. I am a barn lover...I would love to live in a barn looking house! the color looks really good! thanks for stopping by and following!
