Beach Combing... for landscaping and fencing projject

It seems that I have been  missing in action these last few days,  today was a quiet day (enough is enough). Felt good not doing a whole lot, the Beach Combing was good, found a lot of useful wood. Hanging out at the beach is good for the Soul.

Here we are at a favorite beach finding some nice cedar and two derelict docks a good start on the project.
A kind of foggy, sunny, morning shots. My Shot of the day!
Getting started on the project, moved a few plants to a temporary bed, will end up moving them all. The digging was not that hard in this area, mostly silt. The posts are being set two feet over from the old posts that were set in concrete. The new posts are burned on the bottom three feet to preserve then and are set with blue crush (lime stone)
Expanded bed will be using short cedar and logs  in trench to contain bed
Old stump, Fungi, rose hips and Spirulina for my smoothie, more on that later.
Last nights moon and office porch shots
Middlenatch Island taken from the beach. Buddy not impressed as he didn't get to come, he did get a nice grooming so it is all good!
Taz likes to hang under my rocker a Medalta jug and a Sylvac Mr. Pickwick
Take some time for yourself get some fresh air and be Happy!

Thanks for visiting.

  1. Great progress on your fence posts. Buddy looks great, Taz is having fun and your sunshine photos are lovely. Nice seeing how the yard/garden work is going. Enjoyed seeing a first photo of Christmas decorations at night. You have been mighty busy this week.
