Around 30 years ago I built this shed as an addition on a bus some friends were living in. A few years later I put 8 by 8 skids under and made it into a skid shack and used it for storage. It lived in a couple of spots in the yard until found its place. If you are thinking about the before (30 years ago) - down in the main yard, attached to a trailer, if you are thinking after - this is today. I have added different steps on shed, moved it to the upper area of my yard, put new roof on, added siding on over time and installed windows.

I then decided to call the shed 'Took It Look' because two windows reminded me of an owl eyes.
My plan is to add some brass sheeting for eyebrows and beak. |
I bought a load of used cedar boards, decided to add porch, found fish floats from various garage sales. The cottonwood siding was milled from trees in my yard.
I moved door opening to the porch area, it still needs a door (I have a few).

More collectibles stored in the 'Took It Look' |
The great old boards, tub and ice tongs are my junk decorations that I am sharing with Knick of Time's Vintage Style. This is one of many junk collections that are around my yard. (Oct 16/13).

Hi, it looks like a big storage, what will you be doing with all your collections? It is good you don't have termites there, and it seems the wood doesn't decompose that fast! Here in the tropics it will have a lot of problems, lol.
ReplyDeleteWow awesome pieces you have here. Thanks for sharing!
