Fall in the Air...

This is my favorite time of year warm sunny days cool nights. There is so much to do around the yard and garden it is time to make changes with plantings and to harvest garlic, apples and such. This year I will be doing some raised beds, changing the raspberries, building a walk in closure for the blueberries, moving some Rhodos to new beds. Gathering poles, posts, seaweed and leaves are high on my list...

BugBane, Wind Fall Fir at Elk Falls Park where my friends Fred and Robin were married on Saturday, a beautiful setting indeed! Last a Lemon Drop Clematis from our yard.
Ruby Rhubarb that my dad gave me, it has been in the family for over 60 years. A shot of the Distillery in my neighborhood. The Peace Rose is from my mom and is over 40 years old, some apples from our tree and dill seed. Fall flowers and harvesting the garlic.
Recently while working at the Bridge Studios a friend was telling me about '' Old Billy '' Every morning and evening a massive number of black birds migrate along Still Creek where a lot of the film studios are, at some time the metal black bird was planted on the girder. My dad says he has only seen a horse live to 29 years.
