Keep Busy...Keep in Touch... Be Involved

Most people have faced battles with depression/ anxiety at different points in their lives. I have found that keeping busy and helping others with their problems make mine go away. I have been guilty of not keeping in touch. Having several friends pass on has caused me to change my ways. One thing that has become a passion, is Health and Wellness. I have been a Shaklee user for a lot of years as has my dad he is healthy and is on no medication (he turns 92 on Aug. 4th) Check my side bars for more information and opportunities.

Time well spent...

A mixture today of good deals on sale at Lee Valley and bits and pieces of garage sale useful stuff. Picked up a hula-ho (Mr. Pickwick says he likes it, my wife will too) and a pair of gardening shorts for me, lots of pockets, half price.

I find I garage sale for very specific things now, like framed motto's like the one below. Mr. Pickwick is also a garage sale find.
Yes, Sunshine blossoms to share. I also use some of the amazing old machinery I've found while thrifting for yard art too.
A trip to pick up some cheaper gas took a look at Ruskin Dam which is being upgraded the Thomson Creek Farm along the way, and hello Horizon Monarch. Sometimes my thrifting is just photos of the interesting metal pices and configurations I find on my trips.

Finished what turned out to be a short job building a set for a new series in Hollywood North, these days there is less available work in the film industry. It is good to see some of the friends I've come to know over the years. A lot of the workers are the worse for wear, too many years of long hours and poor life style choices has taken there toll. I am grateful that I have other options when so many don't or have lost their hopes and dreams. Time is something we all have only so much of and what one does is at the end of the day what really matters. My Dad has been an inspiration for me leading by example, he has always been a giver, a people person. At the age of soon to be 92 on August 4th he remains active and has a passion for life.
One of Dad's passions is health.
He is a long time Shaklee supplement user, he is on no medications and sharp as a whip.
