Full Circle

I recently went on a trip to the Sunshine Coast. There were two ferries, one from Little River Vancouver Island to Powell River and one from Saltery Bay to Earls Cove. The Saltery Bay trip is around 50 min. and is a very scenic trip.

Summer around the Homestead...

It has been nice having some quality time off getting a lot of different projects underway and even some done. It has been wonderful to enjoy the flowers, various scrubs and plants. My wife is the one who has done most of the work putting it together.

I have been dealing with Wasps this year one nest in my car park, one in the ground I got stung 4 times on that one and one in a old stump right where I was mulching.

Spring a time to renew...

Even though it has been slow to warm up this year on the coast I am grateful for living where I do and for what I have. The love of family and friends, a home and good health. Having some time to catch up on yard work and tying up loose ends is satisfying. Looking forward to learning new things, new plans and dreams is what it is all about.
