Spring has Sprung...

The local paper reporedt that a meter of snow has fallen and records have been broken. What a winter it has been and there are still piles of snow here and there.

I have seen signs of Spring - Snow Drops, buds on the Lilacs, rain and a return to our more normal coastal conditions.

Winters last fling knocked down an old storage area. It took a while to clean the mess up, now I need to make/find places for the displaced tools and equipment.

   
My neighbor installed a live edge Maple counter top and I gave him a hand, it was a very heavy slice of beautiful wood.

Looking forward to trying my new tiller soon. 

Some shots of the big leaf Maples I had to fell, luck I had some help from my neighbour. Saved 7 big logs for future projects.

Top picture is the shed area all cleaned up. The snow is melting and Buddy is very happy to put his feet on the grass again !
