Hope you don't do what my sister did (by accident). She was rearranging my blog look and DELETED the Linky Followers (thought it was a title).

Thursday I learned how to make homemade Chalk Paint and got started on 3 projects. Here is the first one.
First project for my homemade chalk paint is a dark and unusual wall shelf. |
Wow Spring Flowers!! |
Mixing the Paint plaster of paris powder 2 measures slightly warm water 2 measures latex paint 7 measures |
Lots of surface to paint on this long ago homemade project. |
I love the light green. |
Starting adding the displays. Whimsical Chip Carving |
Ice Pick handle with saying, always interesting. |
Bottom shelf has a 1928 weeder and the Long Horn Hook made by my Uncle Dave Hunt |
You continue to amaze me with your creative ideas!! I love LOVE the green color!!!
ReplyDeleteGreat post - as always!
Like the new header, too.
good morning Rob. I love that shelf, so unusual and that is my favorite color. You did a great job and it looks so fresh. Love homemade chalk paint. You have some really interesting collections. Thanks for sharing.

Love the colour - I've never tried ASCP, even though Annie is English like me and I used to watch her on tv. It's just not a big phenomenom over here. I keep seeing it in blogland and I'm going to have to get some to try.
ReplyDeleteJust noticed you live on Vancouver Island - I went there when I was six (a very long time ago) and had a great time.
Happy painting, making and blogging !
Beautiful color! I love the "Things Worth While" picture, too!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great transformation! Totally changes the look of that unique shelf! And thanks for the tutorial on making your own chalkpaint. I have tried it yet but, i hope when the weather gets nice I can try this out! Thank you for joining TTF and have a wonderful week!
