Taz proofing, fall colors and projects...

We have been Blessed with some fine fall weather when the sun pokes out from the fog. It has been a busy time trying to tie up loose ends.

The Puff Balls turned into mushrooms, the Maples are loaded with seed this year, mulching leaves out back

Put posts in for netting the blue berries next year, the Begonia's were late this year so they are still happening.

Made up a cover for the top of the wood heater from material in my bone yard. Taz jumped on the heater (he is okay). Such is life with a baby!

Fall color, strawberries are fed and mulched, a fun shot from down the road

On-going truck project, making more ramps. Have to pull the gas tank and replace fuel pump. I love my rolling work bench it gets a lot of use. Paid $10 and brought it home in the car trunk ( that was fun ). One of my best thrifted finds.

Fall Colors around the yard

Blue crush ready to put the posts in.

I hope everyone is able to enjoy some of the fine fall weather! Thanks for visiting.

  1. Taz is very photogenic. Always more work to be done. Looking forward to seeing the fence posts 'in'. A great fall for getting your projects underway and done. Love seeing fall through your eyes.

  4. Love your old tractor Rob. You are one busy man and I love that you share your projects and your beautiful flowers/trees. Never knew about charring the post bottoms to preserve them. We lived in Michigan for few years and I loved the color, so glad to see the turning leaves.Take care and have a wonderful winter.

  9. Good fall weather down here - or what passes for fall weather in Texas. Not HOT! Trees are STILL green!! I guess we will go from green straight to BROWN and then GONE!
Love seeing all your pictures and that is so clever making a topper for your stove. Bet she would only have done that ONCE!
