Stormy weather = taking the time to work on my office space...

When the weather is nice I want to do outside stuff but when wind is blowing and the rain is coming sideways it is time to work on my space. Around these parts this weather is called a "South Easter"

Dad's Highboy drawer/door pull details and my favourite motto, it sums up how Dad lived his life.

Family Rockers circa 1910 and setting up my new work space

Summer flowers and a young bunny

Summer flowers and a tasty fruit flan.

I hope this post brings a smile to your face.
Be Happy!

  2. Your every post brings a smile to my face! It's so good to see you and what you are doing. I couldn't read all of that wonderful plaque but I will go back and see if I can more of it out. I'm certain I am going to want to write it down and print it out!

Our weather is so different. We have the back doors open as I write although it is chilly enough to wear a sweater when we go out in the gazebo.

  3. I like the the old furniture. When I was a baby my parents didn't have a lot of money. They bought used furniture and my dad did refinishing and my mom helped with upholstery. They got a highboy much like the one in your picture for my baby clothes. I still have it in my bedroom. You post brought a smile to my face because it brought back good memories. - Margy

  5. Hi Rob ... so nice to see your post. Happy Christmas.
Love that old rocker. As you rock, you will have great memories of your Father. That highboy is a great piece. Love all your pictures.
    Warm wishes.
