Obsidian - Be a Contrarian thinker

Recently I bought a book through Networking Times, it is a very thought provoking and insightful read on the state of the world economy and has a lot of suggested answers to todays problems.

Back in the day there was a terrific department store; Woodwards. Its been gone for about 20 years now. Sure miss that store.

Faith and Flowers
Blueberry bed redo, plants all grouped together, I'm ready to build an enclosure to keep the birds out.

Obsidian Arrow Heads; the antler is used to form and sharpen. These are made by my friend John Heron.
A Campbell River carving and flowers to brighten your day.

  3. Like the arrowheads. You mean that the antler is hard enough to shape stone?

  5. There are so many 'back in the day' Shops that are now gone and I miss terribly. Often on my Junquing Adventures I come across some of the Reminders from those Shops and it brings back a Rush of Nostalgia. Recently a Friend of mine 'Scored' some of the Vintage Canvas hand-held Shopping Baskets from Woolworths and it made me realize just how long it had been since the last one closed Shop here in the Valley... I sure do miss THAT store and wish it were something my G-Kids could have experienced.

  9. I'll have to check out that book, Rob.

Oh, how I miss the department stores of my youth! All gone now - either disappeared completely or taken over by big, boring corporations. So sad.

Thanks so much for joining in this week!
